Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that shipping operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Distribution Solutions team.\n\nReports to the Production Supervisor. Support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. \n\n\n \tAssembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.\n \tReads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.\n \tUses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks. \n \tMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies. \n \tMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.\n \tInventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed. \n \tPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. \n \tPerforms other related duties as assigned. \n \tOvertime is required \n
