Job Duties:
Provide technical software engineering consulting services on a Time and Materials basis to review an existing in-house developed application and to
migrate and/or redevelop the application/service to match current City technology standards.
Develops implementation and user guides, release packages, software release notes, technical and/or training documentation for systems.
Minimum/Special/Additional Requirements:
Mid-Level 4-6 years’ experience
Proficiency in:
- Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Systems Design and Implementation
- .NET Development – Web applications, Web Services, Console applications
- Database Design and Programming
Proficiency in the following programming languages:
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Microsoft T/SQL
- HTML and Javascript
- Visual Basic .NET and C# .NET
Proficiency in the use of the following software development tools:
- Oracle SQL Developer
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
- Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
- Power BI
- WinSCP
- Internet Information Services
- Git
Proficiency in the use of office software/tools:
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook
- Teams
- Visio
- NotePad
- WinMerge
- Filezilla
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range: $40-$54.74
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
