ABBY MANUFACTURING LLC is Hiring an IT/HELP DESK TECHNICIAN Near Walnut, MS
- Provide first-line support for help desk issues, this includes in-person, phone support and electronic communication
- Deploy new workstations and other devices for office and production
- User email account management
- Coordinate application installation with end users and provide training and support as needed on application operations
- Identify and procure the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
- Install hardware and peripherals such as memory, monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet user requirements
- Provide updates, status and completion information to manager or users as needed
- Administer email and anti-virus systems
- Rotate daily back up media
- Must have at least one year experience with ticket management in a help desk environment
- Working knowledge of programming languages/logic
- Working knowledge of computer hardware components
- Must be familiar with tablets, laptops, smartphones
- Knowledge of Windows desktop generating systems as well as MS Office
- Knowledge of Windows server operating systems is a plus
- Ability to terminate ethernet cables is a plus
- Basic knowledge of server/client architecture
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and to occasionally climb, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach
- Must be able to work full time Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM as well as some nights and weekends when needed to meet job requirements and IT department deadlines
