ABC Health Care is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile children in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in pediatric nursing, a commitment to family-centered care, and the ability to manage and support a team of dedicated nurses.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will ensure that all care plans are followed thoroughly, while also providing guidance and mentorship to nursing staff. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Your expertise and leadership will help us continue to provide the exceptional care that our families rely on.

Job Responsibilities:.

• Leadership & Coordination: Direct and coordinate the activities of clinical department, ensuring the continuity, quality, and safety of services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Personnel Management: Participate in the development of qualifications and assignment of agency personnel. Supervise and provide direction to subordinates, ensuring adherence to the Plan of Care, patient assessments, and the continuity of services by appropriate healthcare personnel.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program and ensure that corrective measures are effectively implemented.
• Compliance & Education: Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education, coaching, and support. Continuously identify and report any system issues to the Administrator both verbally and through written reports.
• Infection Control: Educate and promote infection control practices and standard precautions in coordinating and performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of diseases.
• Interpersonal Communication: Utilize effective interpersonal relations and communication skills, facilitating their use by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.

Licensure:

• Current license as a registered nurse (RN) in Texas or in accordance with the Texas Board of Nursing’s rules for Nurse Licensure Compact NLC), current Driver’s License

Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a registered nurse obtained within the last 36 months.
• One year experience in home health care preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Pediatric private duty nursing experience preferred.

Skills:

• Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrates proven decision making skills. If required to make visits, need proof of current CPR. Must read, write and comprehend English.
