Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase sales
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Familiarity with food service procedures
- Brewing knowledge is a plus
- Retail math skills for inventory management
- Experience with POS systems required
