General Contracting Firm is seeking a Full-Time Superintendent for commercial bar & restaurant renovation projects in Chicago. The Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation of the job site including supervision of work according to the construction schedule; detailing / documenting / distinguishing in scope and out of scope work on an ongoing basis; and the procurement of materials, manpower and equipment. This job requires strong communication skills via phone, email, and texts as well as an ability to read drawing plans, basic computer skills including word and excel and email programs/apps, an ability to manage and lead tradespeople, carpenters, and laborers, and have basic carpentry skills. Experience with ProCore a must. The Superintendent is required to have had a minimum of five (5) years commercial construction experience including a minimum of three (3) years as a superintendent. The job will start immediately upon successful interviews with Senior Project Manager and Company President. The Superintendent’s starting salary is commensurate to experience and expertise.
