Job Summary:
We are seeking multiple dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Heavy Chore Workers at Abernathy Home Care. This is an hourly position, and we individuals would service Acton, Arlington, Bedford, Boxborough, Burlington, Carlisle, Concord, Harvard, Lexington, Lincoln, Littleton, Maynard, Stow, Wilmington, Winchester, Woburn, and surrounding towns.
As a Heavy Chore Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of physically demanding tasks to maintain and improve the homes of our clients. This is an individual contributor role, requiring physical strength and stamina to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $25 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, our company also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:

• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, moving furniture, and yard work to maintain and improve the homes of our clients.
• Clean and organize homes, including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Putting in or taking out portable air conditioners.
• Complete outdoor tasks, such as lawn mowing, snow shoveling, and gardening.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed to their satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a physically demanding role, such as construction, landscaping, or warehouse work, preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
