About The JobWe are seeking an Sustaining Project Manager who will support the Engineering and Manufacturing teams with a variety of sustaining engineering tasks. The candidate will provide direct support to LED and LCD products, managing ongoing changes to existing product families, analyze RMA data to determine future sustaining needs, and assist in other engineering-related assignments and special projects.
What You’ll Do
- Interface with Engineering and Product Marketing to define and manage product sustaining requirements
- Manage cross-functional, multi-site, complex sustaining projects covering a range of areas (display systems, hardware, software, mechanical, etc.)
- Develop and manage end-to-end sustaining project plans, key milestones, budgets, BOM costs, resource allocation, and status reports to ensure on time and in scope delivery
- Conduct hands-on project management during all phases of the sustaining efforts
- Analyze RMA and repair data for existing product lines, to proactively identify areas for improving overall product reliability
- Procure components and equipment necessary to facilitate projects and other engineering activities, utilizing the company’s purchase requisition process
- Support documentation activities with accurate data entry to ensure that all product documentation is controlled and current in PLM
- Execute special or continuous research and data analysis tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent, or 6 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional work experience
