Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Network Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Implements and manages local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network-related technologies.
• Performs network configuration and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitors network performance and proactively address any issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into new and existing systems.
• Conducts regular maintenance and firmware upgrades on network infrastructure.
• Creates required documentation for network infrastructure.
• Builds network and telecommunications systems for deployment, assist in testing, and prepare for shipping.
• Assists in the installation, operations, and maintenance of network devices & systems in the network/data centers and network infrastructure closets.
• Provides on-call support and respond to system emergencies as required.

Clearance Required: Active TS with ability to get an SCI

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience

Desired Certifications:

• IAT Level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01
• Cisco/Juniper

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and subnetting
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
• Basic understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in supporting classified networks
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using the following protocols: BGP and OSPF desired
• Experience with COMSEC desired
