We are looking for an experienced Test Technician, Sub Assemblies to help test development and production parts for our launch vehicle specifically in our Sub-Assembly area. ABL's Test Technicians maintain critical hardware on the test site and test articles, ensuring they are mechanically sound and prepared for the next test. We seek team members who have an ability to think critically when testing to improve hardware designs and manufacturing processes. This role will require specific skill sets with setting up, executing, and tearing down test operations.
We test parts from both billet material and additively manufactured parts:
·Aluminum
·Steel
·Stainless Steel
·Inconel
Types of Equipment:
·Hi Pressure Test Box
·Pressure Cart
·Water Flow Test Stand
Test Technicians execute the manual operations and maintenance that keeps the test site and test articles running smooth. Their diligence prevents fittings and fasteners from coming lose, joints from leaking, and damaging debris from entering critical systems. For the S3 level role – you will be expected to support our testing while developing skills specifically related to our hardware, tooling and testing procedures.
