1st & 2nd Shift Positions - 2 Locations, Lockland and Blue Ash (Both Plants are Climate Controlled) - $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!Required Skills:
- Produce precision machined parts by loading supplied programs, performing your own fixture, vise and tool set ups while operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains quality procedures.
- Keeps accurate records.
- 3 years of experience as a skilled machinist.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Independent and yet a Team player
- Program mills by uploading programs, zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Familiarity with MasterCAM or other CAM software a plus.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following Mazak, Doosan, HAAS and Fanuc CNC controls.
