Structural Welder- Work is in the Vancouver, WA for a government project SWING SHIFT 3/12
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to fabricate and assemble carbon steel structures according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform welding operations using various techniques such as Fluxcore, MIG, and TIG, welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
- Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of metal components
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Welder 2 years 
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, soldering, ductwork fabrication, press brake machines, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), pipe threading, and blueprint reading
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
