Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second tier Desktop Support for the organization.
  • Be a core team member responsible for hardware, software, printer, and phone system support.
  • Provide on-site office support for team members when needed.
  • Work on technology projects as needed.
  • Manage and support telecom services.
  • Create documentation for standard support and escalation procedures.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers and networks.
  • Maintain communication logs and follow up responsibility for support calls.
  • Manage company Azure, Microsoft, Exchange infrastructure and client configurations.
  • Documentation of office locations, networks and equipment. Perform inventory of IT hardware as needed.
  • Train team members on Office 365 features/add-ins.
  • Refurbish/upgrade/setup computers for staff or training purposes.
  • On/Offboarding team members.
  • Escalate complex issues as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years previous technical support experience.
  • Possess strong skills in hardware, software, network troubleshooting along with learning, understanding, and supporting new hardware and software.
  • Experience with the Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)
  • Understand customer support protocols.
  • Experience working in a ticketing system.
  • Bachelors, Associate degree or applicable Certifications for desktop support (CompTIA A , etc.)
  • Ability to establish guidelines, best practices, processes, and governance.
  • Ability to work in a remote and onsite team environment, under tight deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry experience with business telephony & VOIP, networking protocols, Windows servers, and Active Directory.
  • Worked in healthcare or similar HIPAA compliant environment.
  • Help desk or ticketing support experience.
  • Experience with Ubiquiti networking hardware.
Reports to: Lead IT Engineer
Work Environment: Remote office environment
Travel: Frequent and up to several times monthly within North Carolina as well as potential for out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected based on the Company's growth.
