We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside/Inside Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales in the local Baton Rouge and Lafayette opportunities, and exceeding sales targets. This role offers the opportunity to work make a direct impact on the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and cold-call potential customers within the designated local area to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
2. Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our products/services and address customer needs effectively.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
4. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
5. Collaborate with management to develop strategic sales plans, set achievable targets, and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth within our local and surrounding markets.
6. Track sales activities, manage customer accounts, and generate accurate sales reports for management review.
7. Attend in person weekly meetings with team management.
8. Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and expand the customer base.
9. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics set by the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside/inside sales, with 2 years or more of experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education:
- HS Diploma/GED Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
