Above Green is Hiring a Sustainability Consultant (LEED®) Near Washington, DC

Above Green is an ascendent sustainability consulting company currently with 23 architects, engineers, and project managers who are making a difference on critical infrastructure, government, multifamily, educational, and office projects across 43 of the 50 states. Our mission is to make commercial buildings futureproof — greener, smarter, and securer — for the mutual benefit of the owners and occupants of those buildings.

We are looking for a seasoned sustainability consultant who has experience with LEED® Certification and other third party certification programs to join our growing fully remote team as a (Senior) Project Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the client's point of contact for new construction projects in different phases of development
  • Develop documentation and exhibits to satisfy the specified requirements for those projects
  • Review product submittals in order to determine compliance with healthy materials requirements
  • Regularly coordinate with project team architect, contractors, and subcontractors to access information
  • Attend regular conference calls and satisfy monthly client reporting requirements
  • Organize, submit, and adjudicate the sustainability close-out documentation
  • Contribute to once weekly all hands and sustainability team specific meetings

Ideal Qualifications

  • LEED GA and LEED AP
  • Guiding Principles Compliance Professional (GBCP)
  • 5-10 years with third party certification program consulting for new construction projects
