Abra Kadabra Pest Control, one of the highest-rated pest control companies in the Twin Cities area, is looking for an experienced, assertive, and customer service-oriented commercial sales professional to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping Abra Kadabra expand across the Twin Cities market through your outreach efforts. Our ideal candidate is a hunter who isn’t afraid to walk into a business and strike up a conversation with a prospective client. That said, we’re not looking for someone who is only interested in pushing the sale and rushing out the door once the deal is closed. Instead, we’re seeking a relationship-driven individual who will take the time to educate our prospects on the services we provide while positioning us as a trusted partner who can handle all their pest control needs.

Once you’ve gone through the comprehensive onboarding process at our Mound office, your typical day will be spent out in the field, walking into over 200 businesses per week, connecting with prospective clients, setting follow-up meetings, and developing your business pipeline. In other words, you’ll be able to set your own schedule and manage your calendar in a way that works for you. And during those few hours a week when you are in the office, you’ll enjoy a friendly, laid-back work environment that is 100 percent drama-free. Curious about what the pay structure looks like? Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling prospective clients, mainly in commercial settings
  • Walking into over 200 businesses per week to introduce our services
  • Scheduling sales appointments
  • Coordinating with office staff to onboard new clients
  • Participating in lead generation activities such as networking
  • Developing expert knowledge of our products and services, which will include riding with technicians to learn protocols
  • Following up with prospects
  • Entering data into our CRM
  • Managing your own schedule and calendar

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in pest control or other service-related industries
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling and door-to-door sales
  • Have an outgoing, friendly personality
  • Be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • Have excellent judgment and independent thinking skills
  • Be a self-starter who can anticipate and solve problems
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a background check
