Abrasive Technology is Hiring a 2nd Shift Production Technician Near Center, OH

2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm)

Hourly base rate and $3 shift differential for working off shift.

The Production Technician will work in our Dry Film Lab. They will be responsible for using a laminator machine to imprint artwork onto large copper sheets through a process that is similar to photo development.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and surface preparation of raw material. 
  • Responsible for handoff of prepped sheets and strips from the lab to electroplating.
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial lamination, printing press, or screen printing is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new processes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Desire to bring a positive attitude to your team and work every day.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Stand for 4 hours a day.
  • Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
