Abrazo Health is Hiring a Director Laboratory FT Days Near Glendale, AZ
THE DIRECTOR LABORATORY FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science Specialty. Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor
Preferred: Masters in Allied Health Specialty or Health Administration or Business.
ExperienceRequired: 5 years of progressive management experience in an acute care facility.
Preferred: Lab Director experience
Licensure/CertificationsRequired: Registered in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent). Licensure, as required by State law.
Physical Demands
- Lift/position up to 20 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs. of force.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasional reaching, stooping, and bending.
- Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position.
- 10% travel.
