Let your career find its purpose here at Abrazo.ED Tech Per Diem Nights Position SummaryProvides patient care support services in the Emergency Department under the supervision of an RN.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology required.
THE ED TECH PER DIEM NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Minimum ExperienceOne year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience,
Current CNA certificate, or LNA license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or
Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or
Current EMT-B certification; or
Completion of formal PCA/T/ED Tech education program from an accredited institution.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), CPR.
