Abscope Environmental, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer and is seeking a qualified Civil/Solar Project Manager/Estimator to manage projects throughout the Northeast. Our remedial projects are both varied and challenging and require strong leadership. In general, this position requires someone who can successfully manage and lead site work projects ranging in size from $200,000 to $5M. Some of the more significant job duties include:

• Manage all parties involved (internal and external) from project estimate through construction and close-out phases.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Plan, direct and coordinate project activities to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters, and with the highest levels of safety.
• Utilize construction management software, such as HeavyBid, to creae detailed cost breakdowns and project schedules.
• Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and work plans.
• Develop and process Change Orders.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) from the client.
• Track actual progress, scheduling and invoicing.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of related work experience in construction management or project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge and practical experience dealing with mass earthwork, sheet pile shoring systems, pipe installation, erosion control, landfill caps, storm water basin associated with civil construction.
• Experience with behavior-based safety programs.
• Experience with environmental remediation and regulatory agencies a plus
• Thorough understanding of cost estimating and budget projections.
• Experience in all fiscal aspects of project management.
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction documents and processes.
• Ability to review contract drawings and understand civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing and project plans and specifications.
• Must pass company pre-employment medical exam and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must have the ability to professionally speak, read and write English.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
