Absher ConstructionProject Manager - Central WashingtonJob OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for fundamental project management tasks including project start up, financial management, schedule management, change management, conflict resolution, safety planning and accountability, quality control, project closeout and oversight of project team. This may be done in conjunction with another Project Manager, a Senior Project Manager or a Project Executive.

What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of project and associated responsibilities to successfully complete profitable projects.
- Manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome.
- Administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for an assigned project.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related drawings and specifications.
- Supervise, mentor and lead a team.
- Have experience in project management.
- Take initiative and provide leadership and direction
- Act as a mentor and teacher to others.
- Skilled at a variety of pre-construction work, such as planning, design and constructability review, value engineering, CPM scheduling, and conceptual estimating.
- Ability to successfully estimate or validate and negotiate change order.
- A Bachelors degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication. Foster, promote and ensure good standing relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- A demonstrated commitment to and promotion of a diverse and inclusive work environment and have a commitment to a safe and injury free work environment through your own actions and mentoring others.
