Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe HVAC engineer will manage mechanical, piping HVAC system and perform maintenance.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitors and supervises mechanical, piping and HVAC systems for manufacturing.
  • Uses control system for surveillance systems to detect and monitor malfunctions for mechanical, piping and HVAC systems.
  • When a malfunction is detected, inspects affected systems and areas.
  • Diagnoses and corrects mechanical, piping and HVAC system problems when possible; contacts outside contractors to repair utility problems when necessary.
  • Conducts routine maintenance checks and performs preventive maintenance for mechanical, piping and HVAC systems.
  • Notifies to operators & Technicians of mechanical, piping and HVAC system needing additional attention or repairs.
  • Monitors inventory of spare parts for mechanical, piping and HVAC system.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Clean room temperature and humidity must be managed within spec.
  • Maintenance of clean room related facilities is required (Air shower, AHU, Chiller, pump, FCU, BFU, FFU,..)
  • Preventive maintenance of utility equipment
  • Gas facility management and purchase, replacement, invoice processing
  • Management and maintenance of DI facilities
  • Trouble shooting & Report
  • Clean room condition measurement and record keeping
  • Calibration of temperature, humidity and other sensors & measuring devices
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to read drawing and mechanical, piping and HVAC document.
  • Ability to operate and maintain mechanical, piping and HVAC system.
  • Ability to follow instructions and user manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
QUALITIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and reporting skills
  • Skilled as a trainer/mentor/coach with focus on individual and team growth
EDUCATION:
  • Completion of university in relation to mechanical, piping and HVAC system or equivalent instruction required
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of experience for mechanical, piping and HVAC engineer
Experience in cleanroom management at a semiconductor (display) factory is preferred.
