Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will assist in providing patient care and support the physical therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and gaining hands-on experience in an outpatient setting. In addition, this position will handle administrative tasks for the clinic. Please see below for more details.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with staff, patients, and other healthcare offices
-Organize and maintain referrals and messages
-Obtain authorization for treatment
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Assist with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining patient records
- Provide exceptional patient service
Experience:
-Must be willing and able to multitask as this position includes clerical work in addition to assisting the physical therapist
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
