Job DescriptionProject Manager Trainee - Commercial Construction company located in Northwest Houston
Pay range is $25-$28/hr (DOE)
Seeking a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in construction science or construction management. The ideal candidate must be motivated and seeking stability within a career.
The desired candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, previous construction project management experience, and ideally have prior industry experience within Commercial Construction.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and work to develop project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Assist in the coordination of project meetings and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders
  • Support the project team in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management or related field
  • Proven experience and/or knowledge of project and construction management
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
