Academy Bank is Hiring a CRA Analyst II Near Kansas, MO

The CRA Analyst II assists the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer in administering the Bank’s CRA Program by performing detailed data integrity reviews of commercial and consumer loan data, compiling reports and dashboards to monitor and communicate results, maintaining related electronic and written records, and assisting in the annual loan data submissions, when applicable. The CRA Analyst II will also support the Bank’s CRA Program by maintaining accurate, up-to-date community development records related to the Bank’s CRA lending, donation, volunteer, and investment activities and maintain up to date retail bank branch and deposit taking ATM records and assist with the update to the CRA Public File. Community development records are documented through communication with stakeholders who are both internal and external to the Bank. The CRA Analyst II also ensures adherence to internal data management procedures required for the successful operation of the CRA Program.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge regulatory precedents, updates and trends by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and remaining current on CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending regulations including 1071 and assist in implementation of the data and reporting requirements for the relevant line of business.
  • Maintains procedures for the identification, research, documentation, and record maintenance of the Bank’s CRA community development activities.
  • Manage an orderly workflow of CRA community development records in the Bank’s documentation management system. Establish professional relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate and educate employees around the concept of community development. Accurately determine the community development status of the Bank’s loan, investment, donation, and volunteer activities and thoroughly support the determination with documentation.
  • Track and facilitate completion of monthly operational tasks related to the accurate collection, processing, review and analysis of reportable consumer, small business and mortgage lending data. Validate the accuracy and completeness of data collected for CRA regulatory reporting purpose and CRA performance.
  • Prepare the annual submission for a complete and accurate CRA Loan Registers (LARs) and HMDA (LAR's) to the appropriate regulatory agency prior to the required deadline.
  • Works with business units to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Reviews and updates the bank’s CRA public files, as needed, by April 1 each year.
  • Surveys branch personnel for CRA related information.
  • Utilizes compliance software programs to produce regular HMDA and CRA data reporting and dashboards for management as scheduled or upon request.
  • Creates charts and graphs of analysis results for CRA self-assessments.
  • Assists with CRA/HMDA data-related training for Bank employees.
  • Adheres to the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act Policy.
  • Prepares reporting and participates in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act Committee.
  • Assists in preparation of CRA examinations and audits for an achievement of a satisfactory rating.
  • Understand, communicate, and instill the Company’s mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
  • Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
  • Other specified duties as assigned.
