Provides dynamic leadership under the direction of the principal in the school by creating educational options which lead to academic growth and achievement for all students through a thorough knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, supervision and evaluation, staff professional learning, community engagement, and positive school culture; implements a student-focused vision and collaborative leadership style to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.

  • Takes responsibility for facilitating the preparation of students with the skills, dispositions and attitudes necessary for success in work and post-secondary education, including democratic and civic participation
  • Uses evidence and data to evaluate the performance and practices of the school, in order to continually improve attainment of Student Academic Growth; takes responsibility and devises an intentional plan for ensuring that staff is knowledgeable in how to utilize evidence and data to inform instructional decision making to maximize the educational opportunities and instructional program for every child

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 Years Licensed School Site Experience
  • Bachelor’s (Baccalaureate) degree (e.g., B.A., A.B., B.S.)
  • Principal License: Initial - Colorado Department of Education
    • Meets eligibility requirements by June 1st.
    • If currently enrolled, and not yet complete with licensure program, please include a letter from college/university stating completion of program by June 1st.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 Years of School Administrative Experience
  • Master’s degree (e.g. M.A., M.S., M.Eng, M.Ed, M.S.W., M.B.A., M.L.S)
