The HRIS Workday Analyst fulfills a key role in the continuous development, support and synchronization of our Workday-powered HR Technology platform. Acting as a business partner to various functions within and external to HR, this role will leverage extensive knowledge to develop, design, configure and finalize technical requirements for improved HR business processes. Job Description: Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required. Work Experiences: 5 years of demonstrated HR Systems (HCM/HRIS/HRIT) or 7 years of functional experience required. 3 years of advanced development and/or configuration experience within Workday’s Human Capital Management system required. 2 years of advanced Workday Studio, BIRT, and calculated field experience is preferred. Skills: Strong working knowledge of HR Technology and functional HR processes is required. Demonstrated experience developing, documenting and configuring business processes, advanced calculated fields/reporting and integrations is required. Experience with BIRT, Prism, Studio and XSLT strongly preferred. Proven ability to develop detailed configuration specification documentation. Strong technical aptitude; analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills. Ability to prioritize, remain calm under pressure, pay attention to detail and make decisions independently on fact-based data and analysis. Excellent time-management skills, able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong presentation and communication skills; comfort interacting across all management levels. Customer service oriented; effective listening, speaking and writing skills. Ability to work well and function autonomously as needed; also working well with teams. Self-motivated, with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision. Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs required; advanced Excel skills including data validation, formulas, and pivot tables required. Utilize discretion and judgment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data. Responsibilities: Lead ongoing design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of the human capital management application, Workday; including, but not limited to, business process configuration, conditional logic-based rules and code based system configurations and validations. Work in partnership with peers and business partners to ensure a consistent focus on production support, service requests, and roadmap initiatives to ensure a balanced delivery of service and solutions aligned with business objectives. Development and maintenance of advanced reports and integrations using Workday Report Writer, BIRT and Studio, as well as creation and maintenance of advanced reports, composite reports and dashboards for ongoing customer needs. Identify opportunities for process optimization and technical stability, making operational/strategic recommendations as applicable; lead all associated design and implementation efforts. Create and process Workday EIBs to load data to support HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and other areas as needed. Serve as the Workday subject matter expert to internal customers; Provides Tier 3 technical support for production support issues including, but not limited to, researching and resolving technical problems, unexpected results or process flaws; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Owns development, testing and maintenance of existing and future integrations with external vendors and other internal departments and applications. Reviews system data on a regular basis to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness; preforms any necessary data clean up and sanitization. Stay well-informed on system enhancements and changes and lead associated deployment activities, inclusive of regression testing, data & integration validation, downstream impact analysis and assurance of overall system performance/stability. Own creation, validation, and execution of all test scenarios for recommended configuration changes and ensure that all business processes are fully tested, guaranteeing all business requirements have been met. Lead development and validation of cross-application test scenarios and execution thereof; ensuring all changes/enhancements are fully tested and meet all business requirements. Understand, document and communicate impact of configuration changes to all business processes across the platform and the system users. Develop advanced calculated fields and conditional logic. Train and mentor new system technical users as well as support development of user procedures, job aids, guidelines and documentation. Maintain data integrity in systems by developing processes to audit, analyze, resolve and prevent future issues. Responsibilities may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Learns and follows company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
