```Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid techniques and emergency response procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transferring patients
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and behavior management strategies
- Understanding of resident rights and person-centered care principles
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
