Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.
Schedule: Night Shift - 7PM-7:30PM ( 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends)
How Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) Empower Recovery
• Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
• Supports residents during structured outings and recreation
• Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment
• Monitors and documents exercise
• Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Mental health experience preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
• Previous direct mental health experience preferred
