IMMEDIATE HIRE- We are in need of an outside substitute instructor at our Naperville, IL location hosted at Star Smiles Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. This includes classroom and clinical teaching on Saturdays for 10 weeks during the semesters.

The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below:

• Complete the Instructor Training Course.
• Complete the Instructor Refresher and Accountability Quiz prior to each semester.
• Prepare the dental office for class.
• Prepare by reviewing the class lecture and understanding the clinic stations.
• Review the class checklists and complete each task in its entirety.
• Lead lecture.
• Lead clinic stations.
• Assist in new instructors/liaisons on-boarding process.
• Gather student documents to be sent to Administration.
• Weekly communication with Administration.
• Manage all classroom situations.
• Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system.
• Log compensation into the payroll system at the end of each class day.
• Sign up to teach specific class days on the instructor schedule prior to the start of the upcoming semester.

Position Qualifications:·

Ability to communicate effectively with students
· Positive, fun, and caring attitude
· Copy of your High School/Equivalent Diploma or transcript & at least 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant
· CPR certificate and Dental Training Certifications (beneficial but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $125.00 - $250.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
