Job Description:
Accent Controls, Inc. (ACI) is seeking full time nights Stock Clerks to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution, located at the Naval Air Station (NAS), Jacksonville, FL. Warehouse workers will work closely with Government and other contractor employees.
The non-exempt job classification description below is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) with Wage Determinations (WDs). SCA positions furnish services in the U.S. through the employment of service employees. Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs. 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f)
Primary Responsibilities:

• Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard.
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Stores articles in bins, on the floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material.
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
• Prepares a periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock.
• Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
• Compiles reports on the use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and the refusal of shipments.
• May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
• May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
• May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
• May cut the stock to the site to fill the order.
• Counting and Inventory Accuracy

Qualifications:

• Carry out written and/or verbal instructions.
• Utilize telephone, copy machine, computer, as needed.
• Operate a mower, ladder, shovel, rake, mop; hand power tools.
• Ability to stand frequently; sit occasionally.
• Lift up to 50lbs.; carry and walk, frequently.
• Drive on site, as needed.
• Ability to problem solve; make decisions; interpret data; organize; and read and write.
