PeopleSoft Application Developer

Contract: only W2

Duration of Engagement: 2 years, with strong possibility of extension of services for another 2 years

Location of Engagement: 110 State Street Albany, New York 12236

Work Arrangement: On-site work at the location stated above is required for a one month probationary period. After the probationary period, 50% remote work.

Description of Engagement:

The New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS) has recently installed a modernized retirement benefit administration program. The implemented platform is an Oracle PeopleSoft solution. NYSLRS requires individual(s) with Application Development skills to work with in-house Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Four or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, COBOL, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface.

• Four or more years of experience in using SQL over PeopleSoft Data Structures.

• Two or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.5x and higher.

• Two or more years of experience creating technical design documents and unit test scripts.

• Four years’ experience implementing or supporting an Oracle PeopleSoft implementation.
