The Ideal Candidate:

• Is a CPA with 7 years’ experience in public accounting including supervision and review of business and individual tax engagements and compilations and reviews of financial statements
• Is detail oriented, organized, and tech-savvy (our tech stack consists of Microsoft 365, UltraTax, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks Online, ShareFile, and numerous other applications)
• Enjoys creating new solutions, improving processes, and driving projects to completion
• Is an excellent communicator who works well with clients, colleagues, and other professionals
• Embraces continuous learning, new technologies, and new challenge

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review business, individual, and trust tax returns
• Tax research, planning, and projections
• Supervise and review the work of a staff accountants and coordinate services and projects with firm owner and clients
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and perform compilation and review engagements
• Oversee client accounting services (a rapidly growing area of our practice)
• Consult with clients, identify needs, propose solutions, develop and implement service plans
• Develop and improve internal processes for serving clients and ensuring timely completion of projects

Other Information:

• Experience in industry is not required but is a strong plus as we expand our client accounting services practice.
• The ability to juggle many projects is important in this role.
