Your Mission:

Provides leadership to core areas of the company's accounting function, including close and consolidation, general ledger, intercompany accounting, internal controls, managing external audits, Technical Accounting, and financial reporting. Through controls and regular performance analysis, ensures the quality and accuracy of financial management throughout the organization. Partners with leadership to review period performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

How You'll Make an Impact:

* Oversees accounting close and consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate accounting over all aspects of the general ledger.

* Manages intercompany accounting and ensures all intercompany transactions are correctly recorded and eliminated.

* Prepares financial statements monthly for Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. (LCE) leadership and Business Unit Reviews (BUR).

* Leads external, audit process and works closely with external auditors to prepare quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.

* Oversight for Oracle financial system, including governance, and collaboration with LCE IT support for maintenance and enhancements.

* Responsible for internal accounting controls, including ongoing collaboration with LCE compliance team and Ilitch Holdings Incorporated (IHI)internal audit.

* Researches and provides recommendations on new and/or complex accounting transactions.

* Ensures compliance with GAAP accounting and implementation of new pronouncements impacting the accounting and financial reporting of LCE, Blue Line Foodservice Distribution (BLD) and Little Caesars Fundraising (LCF).

* Provides financial counsel, advice, and knowledge internally at all levels when evaluating potential decisions that may have a significant impact on the business.

* Provides leadership, development, performance management and coaching for accounting colleagues to assure controls are in place to protect company assets and maximize financial returns.

* Oversees the analysis of information to improve business processes and chain-wide profitability.

* Provides fact-based thought leadership on key strategic and financial decisions for the organization.

* Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.

* CPA and demonstrated knowledge of GAAP

* Demonstrated Technical accounting knowledge and application

* 10-15 years of experience in accounting, auditing or finance. (specific experience managing the accounting function (General Ledger, AP, Audit and reporting) within a large multinational organization.

* Public accounting/auditing experience.

* Proficient in Oracle or similar financial accounting and consolidation system.

* Strong working knowledge of intercompany accounting and eliminations.

* Evidence of well-developed interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.

* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

* Demonstrated project management skills.

* Evidence of a successful leadership track record with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.

* The ability to travel as required and adhere to the LCE travel policy.

* No employment or contractual restrictions due to existing confidentiality and/or non-competition agreement and ability and willingness to sign a confidentiality and non-competition agreement with the Ilitch companies.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* MBA

* Previous experience in a leadership role with a QSR or a similar (franchise) environment.

Working Conditions:

* Traditional office environment.
