Summary: 

This position will be the primary face of the bank. The main function of this role is to ensure delivery of legendary customer service to each and every customer. This function ensures, as a company, we continue to meet the expectations of both the customer experience, as outlined in our purpose, pledge and Accessway.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Receptionist / Greeter: first impression and first point of contact for our customers, guests, and tenants. Responsible for setting the tone for the organization and directing visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the bank.
  • Learn customers’ names and to address them by name whenever possible.
  • Maintain highly professional and courteous communications in all daily contacts.
  • Monitor meeting rooms and Commercial Team Members calendars.
  • Coordinate and order catering for meetings when needed.
  • Responsible for the set-up and clean-up of all conference room and community room meetings.
  • Compose and direct written communication to various people, both outside and within the financial institution that may be of a confidential nature.
  • Responsible for the physical flow of paperwork within the department including filing, handling and dispersing incoming and outgoing mail, updating records and compiling reports.
  • Help to provide phone support and routing to the appropriate bank employee as necessary.
  • Maintain and stock supplies in the commercial banking kitchen area and the first-floor conference rooms.
  • Assist with metering mail or prepare special mailings for Midtown location.
  • Act as 1st floor safety coordinator.
  • New Hires: send welcome gift, compile employee orientation packets, and order name plates.
  • Assist with expense and department reports.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ experience in receptionist and/or administrative support roles.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated/takes initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Has Notary license or ability to obtain.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
