JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Development Professional, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our organization. Responsibilities:
- Responsible to pursue new leads and adapt quickly to the emerging requirements of government contracting.
- Work closely with the team in any processes, trainings, research and any other business needs.
-Research and identify potential clients who align with the organization's goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Review current market trends and propose innovative business ideas to improve revenue.
- Make presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
- Create and implement processes and policies to support overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
- Provide onsite project management for contracts in service area
- Support any research related to Government contracts such us teaming agreements, SBA programs, local and state registrations.
- Light travel is required for this position
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in business development and sales
- Strong understanding of strategic planning and sales techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Excellent negotiation and project management skills
- Ability to maintain and enhance customer relationships
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics
