Programming Data Entry Specialist
The Data Entry Specialist is a vital part of Guardian Access Solutions. This role is responsible for interacting with customers and accurately collecting and inputting information into our database.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Respond to customer requests for data entry via phone, email, and fax
Utilize proprietary software, including Door King, PDK, and other Access Control software, for efficient data entry to upkeep various databases
Generate reports and conduct comparisons using Excel, presenting transaction histories to customers
Support field technicians in troubleshooting via PC and offer IT assistance
Directly report to management in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward the customer at all times
Demonstrates strong customer service and collaborates seamlessly within a team setting
Regular attendance at work and provides appropriate flexibility
Adherence to safety guidelines and policies
Other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to self-manage communications and service requests from customers and field technicians
Strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
Meticulous attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Self-motivated and capable of handling challenging, demanding interactions with customers on a daily basis
Exceptional verbal communication and proficient data entry skills, preferably with an accurate typing speed of 50 wpm
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience in creating spreadsheets and proficiently importing/exporting data using Excel
Comfort and familiarity with working on a PC, learning new software, and general file creation and saving
Mechanical aptitude is a plus, due to our field service industry
As a condition of employment, employer will conduct a background check and drug screen prior to hire
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Ability to understand, speak and write English
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation Range: based on experience
Position Hours: 7:30AM-4:30PM

Work is performed in a fast-paced office, attached to a warehouse setting with frequent interruptions. Occasional need to travel to other locations as necessary.
