Seeking a Direct Support Professional for a Woman with Developmental Disability

You can make a difference in the life of someone special! We are looking for an engaging staff (1:1 support) to work with a woman with a developmental disability supporting her to pursue her interests, and hobbies, as well as increase her overall level of independence. In this critical role, you will support this individual in the home and out in the community to increase communication skills, money management skills, and building relationships with community members. The ideal candidate should be creative, charismatic and compassionate. Experience is preferred, but not necessary for the right candidate! Must also be comfortable with some personal care tasks.

Hours (Please apply if you’re interested in working some of the days listed):

Wednesday and Friday 10:00am-4:00pm

Every other Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm

Pay rate: $22/hour, additionally $.625 per mile for transportation reimbursement

Location: Dewitt, NY

Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency.

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
