Job DescriptionLocationThis position is based in Lake Charles, LA. Relocation assistance is available.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quantity takeoff tracking and management of the project. Coordinates with Client and other third parties to resolve high-level technical issues to obtain final approval of the executed works.
- Identifies, manages, and assists in the preparation of proposals for design alternatives that are beneficial for the project.
- Tracks all quantity takeoffs for the project through his team.
- Provides contractual support from a technical point of view to other project contracts: contracting support, technical interface with specialized subcontractors, technical disputes, etc.
- Identifies technical risks and participates in the preparation of risk reports.
- Participates in the review of the Project budget forecasts, providing the necessary technical part for its realization.
- Support in the execution stage (project assistance team to resolve nonconformities, RFI with designers, and unexpected events during construction).
- Advises/participates in the formalization of contracts with engineering companies.
- Guarantees the correct transmission of design information to the entire project team.
- Collaborates on the technical claims of the project.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
