The Senior SEO Content Specialist, who reports to the SEO Director, is responsible for owning the execution of our SEO content roadmap from content ideation to execution that supports the organic growth and user acquisition goals of plushcare.com.

A day in the life…

  • Plan, copyedit and optimize engaging and user-friendly content for plushcare.com.
  • Work with the clinician and legal teams to approve and revise content, project managing effectively from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, vendors and the clinical editorial teams to ensure content is aligned with the brand voice, tone and style guidelines.
  • Conduct SEO keyword research and analysis to create evidence-based and authoritative content on various health topics and services.
  • Perform content audits, gap analysis and keyword research to identify content opportunities and improve SEO performance.
  • Measure and monitor content performance using analytics tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in content strategy, health communication and digital marketing.

What we are looking for…

  • highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can project manage multiple content campaigns and deadlines efficiently.
  • Data-driven with solid understanding of key content metrics. Must be self-directed with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • An efficient researcher who carries out keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits with relevant tools and best practices.
  • Experience in copyediting and partnering with writers to craft high-quality content that suits audience needs, matches brand voice, and complies with SEO standards.
  • A collaborative and communicative team player who can work effectively with other content creators, designers, physicians, therapists, developers, marketers, and stakeholders to ensure content alignment and consistency across all marketing channels and platforms.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can update our internal tracking systems to ensure proper interlinking, write engaging title tags, meta descriptions, and main CTAs to increase conversion, and suggest improvements and innovations for content strategy and execution.
  • Highly proficient oral and written communication skills and provide examples of prior content creation, from ideation to execution.
  • Requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in SEO content marketing.
  • A bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience reading, researching and editing healthcare topics with a related education/certification a plus.
