Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic faculty member to join our Surgical Technology program starting Fall 2024. Ideal candidates will excel in communication, thrive in a student-centered environment, and embrace cultural competence. Proficiency in technology, promoting critical thinking, and innovative teaching methods are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement course syllabi and instructional materials.
• Deliver engaging instruction and evaluate student performance.
• Participate in departmental and institutional activities, including assessment and committee work.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Surgical Technology.
• Education or experience in instructional methodology and curriculum design.
• National certification in Surgical Technology through an accredited agency (NCCA).
• Minimum five years (10,000 hours) recent experience in surgical technology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College-level teaching experience.
• Experience in online teaching.

Additional Information: This full-time position includes a workload of 30 lecture hour equivalents per academic year. Faculty are expected to maintain office hours, engage in professional development, and contribute to institutional service. The position offers a competitive salary range from $52,827 to $68,912 for a 9-month contract, with comprehensive benefits.
