Job Focus:
- Creating accounting calendar and budget schedules
- Preparing consolidated financial statements and account reconciliations
- Monthly general ledger entries and any related analysis
- Fund accounting entries including endowment and restricted account releases
- Manual system interfaces from Payroll, POS, Student Billing and Donor Management systems.
- Responsible for investment and endowment accounting.
- Process improvement, best practices implementation
- Daily cash reporting, weekly cash forecasting, debt financing, treasury functions
- Variance analysis and ad hoc reporting, budgeting
- CPA preferred
- 5 years of accounting experience,
- Endowment and Investment financial reporting experience
- Experience in a private or public school a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- NetSuite experience a plus
