Senior Accountant - ATHENS, GA
A long-standing, privately owned organization in Athens is adding a Senior Accountant to the team! This is 60% accounting and 40% analysis, so the best of both worlds! Very interesting opportunity in disaster recovery, with travel up to 2 days a month (in the southeastern United States only). Become an integral part of this responsive organization doing humanitarian work. The role is in office, in Athens, Georgia, daily.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day general accounting, reporting to a Senior Accounting Manager on a 4-person team
- Various reconciliations (bank, balances sheet, etc)
- Revenue/cost analysis
- Data analysis
Requirements:
- Accounting degree
- Deep Excel skills: v/h look-ups, pivots, macros
- At least 2 years experience in general accounting
- Some audit experience preferred
