Position: Technical Business AnalystLocation: NYC, NY (3 days a week onsite) - Prefer LocalsDuration: 12 MonthsProject Manager/Business Analyst Position DescriptionThe ideal candidate should have the skills listed below but in addition should be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically. In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever-moving regulatory landscape. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skill set of those around them.

- Work closely with clients to define the scope of delivery
- Build client relationships and manage expectations
- Work closely with clients to define business requirements, including writing detailed functional requirements and use cases
- Create prototypes for business valuation and feedback
- Partner with data providers to ensure requirements are met
- Support development team in creating detailed technical specifications
- Conduct UAT, training sessions and user demos
- Support ongoing user requirements and investigate issues
- Manage strategy and roadmap for squads
- Co-ordinate squad/Fleet deliverables with a variety of stakeholders (other Technology Fleets)
- Support the squads/Fleet to remove any impediments
- Squad and Fleet level reporting for a variety of stakeholder audiences
- Assist the Fleet with adoption of best practices (Agile, SDLC 3.0, etc.)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience following the SDLC (Waterfall, Agile)
- Financial industry knowledge, preferably in Electronic Bluesheet/CAT reporting
- Knowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data
- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience working in medium to large-scale development projects
- Project management experience
