- Provide oversite over month, quarter, and year-end close.
- Review and assist in journal entries and GL Management over accounting transactions
- Review assigned intermediate to complex ledgers to understand the variances both in trends and to budget and be prepared to present the financial statements to the accounting manager.
- Manage and lead accounting team including work review and performance.
- Understand and maintain ERP system operations, identifying and correcting system issues as necessary to maintain integrity of financial information.
- Create and improve processes and procedures including documentation and support.
- Assist in supporting annual audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA Highly Preferred
- Public Accounting experience is a plus
- High ethical standards, strong decision-making abilities, and a results-driven approach. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
