LOCATION:
  • 4 days on-site in Charlotte, NC
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Act as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the human resources functions within the organization, focusing on fostering a positive work environment, optimizing employee performance, and supporting the company’s growth.
  • Provide leadership to the HR team and develop strategies in key areas including Compliance, Workers' Compensation, Total Rewards, Benefits, First Response HR; Employment Verification, Background Checks, Accommodations / LOA, HRIS Administration
  • Oversee HR operations for 3,000 employees, including corporate staff and field staff
  • Oversite of payroll team process payroll both weekly, and bi weekly to include bonus/commissions
  • Formulates, evaluates, and implements innovative human resources policies, best practices, and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency, employee retention, and satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and promotes employee awareness of these standards.
The Background That Fits
  • 7-12 years of experience in HR operations or a similar leadership role.
  • Experience in supporting operational employees alongside corporate staff and executives.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, compensation, benefits, First Response HR; Employment Verification, Background Checks, Accommodations / LOA, Payroll (initially), HRIS Administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
