Due to our continuing growth, our client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to joining its team. You will be servicing clients in a variety of industries. Your client activities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements; review of financial statements for suitability of presentation and accuracy of disclosures
• Preparation of workpapers; review of workpapers for accuracy and completeness
• Preparation of business and individual tax returns
• Coordinate engagement workflow
• Preparation of financial statements
• Tax Planning
• Business and personal financial planning
• Oversee maintenance and analysis of the general ledger (prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etc.)
• Ensure books and financials are in accordance with GAAP or other required accounting standards
• Ensure accurate, timely and well documented month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and financial statement preparation
• Proactively build relationships with clients, and communicate effectively with them, in an ongoing effort to deliver superior client service
• Mentor and train junior staff members
