Our client, a growing manufacturing and pharmaceutical company is looking for a strong Senior Accounting Manager. This is a direct hire role in Bay Shore, NY. Great company culture and benefits with potential for bonus.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, analyze annual reports, financial statements, and other records
- Develop, maintain, or analyze budgets and budgeted costs to actual costs
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records and financial statements
- Review account books and accounting systems
- Oversee asset utilization, audit results, and recommend changes
- Monthly financial statement presentation to management team
- Oversee outside audit and payroll audits
- Determine all company third party plans are in compliance with tax laws
- Prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field and CPA
- Experience working in the Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industries
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge
