Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers, and security systems. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our business and supporting the infrastructure that underpins our corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Administration: Manage and maintain company servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.

- Network Management: Oversee the configuration, installation, and support of network hardware and software.

- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Assist employees with IT-related problems and questions.

- Software Management: Install, configure, and update software applications. Ensure software licensing compliance.

- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans. Monitor system performance and perform regular data backups.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and procedures.

- Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.

- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and procure hardware/software.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network administration, server management, and IT security. Experience with Windows environments. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) 

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

- Strong familiarity with database management and MYSQL administration.
