Accumet Engineering Inc is Hiring a Laser Operator-Full time Near Devens, MA
Summary Of Essential Job FunctionsYou will be expected to set up and run high powered metal cutting lasers with minimal supervision; understand and be able to modify CNC code; and to follow established policies/procedures to ensure that appropriate steps are followed and completed enabling to pass 1st and 2nd piece inspections. You will be required to take heed to all necessary precautions when using CO2 based machines; follow quality procedures and coordinate issues through appropriate channels. (ie) supervisors, managers, sales, QA..
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience;
- Ability to read/understand blue prints;
- Extensive programming knowledge;
- Microscope work; (light source inspection);
- Ability to use measuring devices; (ie) Verniers, Pin Gage, (CMM
- Set up/operate CNC laser machines; IPI’s;
- Understanding “G” Code;
- Understand feed rates; power parameters; different material properties;
- Experience with Manufacturing software/or similar job tracking software (ShopTech-E2);
- Understanding of job flow
- Time Management;
- Professional demeanor;
- Compensation commensurate with experience
